It wasn't that great. Sometime, you should watch the Airbus demo at LeBourget where they do max performance climbs and turns to remain within the protected airspace. It is mostly at low-speed/high alpha with aid from the FBW, of course.

Don't know when but it is in New Zealand. That's the Royal New Zealand Air Force's 757. Check the Herc with the funny camo, if you pause it, you can see the Kiwi in the roundel.
