Great job SWAPA! I plan on buying all my former AAI F/O's beers till they upgrade. Just came from (MECA) er Dallas for a PT and the place is a buzz with excitement about the merger.ETOPS, 800's, South and North and of the border opps + Hawaii. Great things are a coming for the new Southwest and I for one am looking forward to having you guys on board! Just started year 15 and still LUV my job!
Cheers!

Really class act SWAPA!

Kudos to all that had a hand in it, and the rest of ya'll for footing the bill.

I didn't think of it last night, but I should have been drinking Wild Turkey.

Enjoy this touchy- feely stuff... while it lasts

I know given the mess at UsAir that misery loves company but sorry to disappoint you, the AirTran pilots had a wonderful evening with our gracious SWAPA hosts.

I'm glad that you guys had a great evening. I wasn't there, but can say without much doubt that what you experienced last night was a much more accurate picture of what Southwest and SWAPA are really like in comparison to some of the BS that's been talked about on these forums. The vast majority of us are great guys to fly with just like the AirTran folks that I've met seem to be.

Nobody likes flying with me :( Glad the Tranny dudes got a taste of this awesome Company we work for.

So I guess YOU believe that YOU have won the lottery by being hired at SWA?

IF you are going to run around posting on the internet that AAI Pilots have "won the lottery"... then YOU must agree that YOU have "won the lottery" as well.

Congratulations.... here is a mirror for you to look in.

I definitely felt like I won the lottery when I got hired!

Evening all! (brothers and sisters both present and future :) . I am pleased and proud to hear about the great evening enjoyed by all last night! When I and my wife reported to Dallas in 1994 for new hire training - I must say I was blown away by the attention and LUV shown to us. I'm sure the details of how this deal goes down will be over the heads of 99% of all of us regular folks, and how ever it ends up - you can be assured if we work together, you will be welcomed and have drinks piling-up on the bar in front of you! (heehee) - welcome! - Nerf

hell ya i won the lottery but the difference is i bought an swa lottery ticket when i came here. I wasn't the guy in the alley behind the bar that couldn't get a swa ticket and who now has picked up a free ticket and doesn't even care that someone else bought it. Your ticket was bought by the swapa pilots who paid for it in sweat over the years. Take your ticket gracefully please.

get of your high horse

Your first post was nice. And then you post this???? Man looks like you somehow slipped through the cracks and stole your lottery ticket.

Kudos to SWAPA for throwing a great party. Great food, great company, and my fave Macallan Single Malt. I sincerely hope this is just a harbinger of things to come. Thanks again and happy holidays.

So anyone know who left the present in the urinal?

Oh man, wish I hadn't had to j/s out, that Macallan is good stuff!

As far as the "phantom *******" leaving the "gift" in the urinal, we were discussing that on the AAI Board. Just a thought, but there was a Delta tech services party going on in one of the small rooms down that hallway. I'm just sayin'... ;)
