Ummm Gk has done good work, but any news show out there would rather inteview Bethune IMHO.

I think Bethune is mostly old news now. Maybe he's still a big deal in CAL circles, but I doubt CNBC would pay much attention to him if Gary offered an interview instead. About the only retired airline exec who still gets a whole lot of attention from the media is Bob Crandall.

Flop, We can agree to terms. I will forgo setting them all but I will start and let's see what ya think. Here we go, First we must assume that SWA is allowed to start intnl flights out of HOU. If they are not, no deal. Next, the bet begins when they begin flights to intnl destinations outside of the 48 cont. states. We are talking at least 2015 per SWA. I will give you 2 years from that date til united folds up shop and quits flying intnl from IAH (becomes a hot dog stand). Bet amount 30,000.

In Houston, Bethune still get's more tail than a toilet seat. Sqwak Box loves the guy. It's still a bigger deal to take cal where he did than for GK to assume the reigns and not screw up...
