A couple weeks ago there were several posts regarding the April 6th training class. Any word on the next set of classes? Rumor has it there will be about a year wait for the next class. Any truth?

I haven't even called them yet. I interviewed end of Jan. and called Mid-Feb. I figured they are probably sick of poolies calling them. 3rd quarter would be from July - Sept. Gee, I was thinking I would be heading to Dallas by then. Guess I'm looking at Oct. - Dec.

Airlinepilotpay.com states all poolies would be trained by August. Wonder who they got that info. from?

When I originally spoke to them in January, they said late summer, so that's not a radical change in estimated class date. Best of luck.

I, too, interviewed mid-December, and when I received the call in January I was told June or July for an estimated class date. As of the end of Feb when my background check had been completed, Kim U. said that June/July was still a good estimate.

It can't come fast enough!

Talked to Kim today for the first time since the drug test and she said I would be around the end of the third quarter to the beginning of the fourth quarter. I interviewed the end of January. So worse case senario I'm looking at 9 months.

9 months from interview until training date? Wow. I thought their goal was to reduce the numbers and time in the pool.
Any idea what it may cost them to hold folks at bay that long?

I read somewhere it costs $1000 per year to keep up records.
