And now we fly the -800 for the same rates, and don't go to HI.
Thats because SWAPA is a weak POS! Follow that up by a bunch of yes men koolaid sheeple and you have 800's for free. Plus all the other SL the idiots in SWAPULL land put out.

Houston going to go south.

Hawaii is a trash market. Its mostly rewards travel. Ask any major CEO, they will tell you that. Gordon Bethune said they had to fly there for their members of Onepass, but was not a money maker at all.

Ask Richard how much money that ATL-HNL brings in?

Dallas to CLT/GSO prices for example, 1200-1500. More then some Europe cities.

Scoreboard
North America includes the US, Canada, Mexico, Central America, and all of the Caribbean. I'm sure that when Gary is talking about 50 new destinations for SWA he is including places that AirTran is going now as new destinations for SWA.
Name 25, let alone fifty. That's what I'm saying.

You think the high frequency model of SWA will work to some of these places?

No friggin idea.

It seems as if "the model" was tossed out the window anyway. No idea what it is and I'm not sure anybody does. It certainly doesn't include a quick turn on even the smallest NG.

50 MORE destinations. Most of the ones you list we already go to or will go to after AT ceases operations.

Lima is too far from HOU, so I'll give you five countable on your list. Now, wheres the other 45?

Not flat earth, just reality of what GK says, what we think it means, and what he really means. I've learned to decipher his double-speak. :)

Pecos, Las Cruces, Demming, Ft Stockton, Beaumont, Waco, Wichita Falls, Roswell, Laredo, McAllen, Brownsville. All of those should be on your list!
