Hey SWA guys

I have heard that if your company has a 135 certificate you guys allow the pilots to jumpseat on your carrier. I was wondering if that is still in effect and what are the details. Ie eligibility, ID, priority, proceedures, blah, blah, blah, etc, etc.....

Thanks in advance

Bman

SWAPA (pilot union) has a committee that works in conjuction with the company to approve of 135 & some 121 carriers to "jumpseat" (sit in the back if available seats are there) but only after the requesting company coordinates in the appropriate manner & provides all necessary info to SWAPA & to SWA. If you company is interested have them contact SWAPA & ask to speak to the Jumpseat Committee chairman who will start the review process. Hope that helps.

I'd like to add that your avatar rules. Droopy is my hero. Or one of them, anyway.

In light of this beloved cartoon reminiscence, I'd like to proffer the following deep thought, courtesy of the immortal Jack Handey.
