Heard today that SWA has stopped all hiring for at least the remainder of this year. Anyone else hear anything like this? :(

I havent heard this but it wouldnt surprise me. They want more productivity out of us to stay competative plus Boeing is on strike which means no new airplanes coming in.

swa is why pilots dont make the $$ the used to make. fukc em....

here comes the bla bla bla..

(and i am not bashing the pilots, so relax)

Dubinsky is why pilots don't make what they used to make.

here comes the tears

FYI, the next scheduled F/A training class(10/24) has been scrubbed even though invites had already gone out. The cancellation is being chalked up to the Boeing machinist strike and obviously the uncertainty surrounding ops at MSY.
