Yes, oldest gets lowest number and also get to sit in the front row of the class. The "oldest" gets a cain to carry around with a air horn. Young guys are in the back row because they can see and hear better. Youngest gets the big pacifier! Whaa.............

I'm 32 probably will be 33 when in class in 6 months or so. What are the average new hire ages?

Sounds like another case of age discrimination. Let's all petition our Senators and Congressmen to have this outdated and unfair practice stopped.

Who goes to class first within the interview date?

If your interview date is the same, do they send the oldest first or who got their type first? This could be a player for me for the April 6th class!!!

Thanks,

Givvit

Bound,

I think, on average, that the average age of the average an new-hire class averages between an average of 38 and 42 years.

Congrats,

CR

if your interview date is the same and everyone had their type when they arrived at the interview you will get called based on your last name, alphabetical, A's B's etc. once in class it will be based on age.

Now THAT is discrimination! Alphabetic order is EVIL. Seriously, think about it, bad deals never get handed out in alphabetic order, but good deals all of the time. I wonder what the phone number to the ACLU is?

You could be last, but I know that 1 guy in our group on the 23 (out of 5 getting hired) got hired with no type, and He got his type about a month ago so you are ahead of Him. Also I know a friend of mine turned down SWA for FEDEX and He was hired 3 months ago, so theres at least 2 people. Who knows, Hope you make it,I gues we should know in a couple of weeks!!!
