Anyone know what the SWA retirement numbers are like in the next decade? I have heard they have quite a few 50 somethings there...thanks,
GD

Gumby,

I don't have a stat to back this up but at my February interview we were told of the 4,000 or so pilots at SWA, only 1,000 would still be there in 10 years due to retirements. Not a bad time to get in if they really hire 500+ for the next several years!

Good Luck!

That's similar to the number i was thinking it was...didnt know if I had just pulled that out of the ether or if I picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue.

If they would change the 1000hr PIC requirement, I know of a 35yr old former SWA FA that would be there for 25yrs.
