Until SWAPA leads the charge again to raise the retirement age to 70 - which is starting to circulate.

The majority of the guys calling the shots at SWAPA have been at SWA less than 8 years. I can assure you that there is no age 70 push.

age 65 plus one day won't make it beyond the noise level and if it does there will be a well placed 50cal round dead center from every FO.

70 won't happen unless the Europeans push for it first. 68 maybe but not 70.

Jeezus, you old farts need to learn how to manage your money.

With regard to the worst pilot union in mankind's history [ALPA] and further retirement age increases. Moak wrote the membership a PAC letter on Nov 8th and spewed forth some revisionist history spin on 65 that I think has set off some anger. I think he'll get the picture when PAC money income goes to zero.

The vast majority of the membership will make sure ALPA's scumbag leadership doesn't pull any BS on retirement age change.

Let's see 5 years at $190K a year...almost $1M of additional income? Sounds like good management to me.

Absolutely .... Dying with my cringing liver-spotted hands on the open time button is how I want to go. It's my right.
