In year one, our advance for the first check of the month is $2000. Can anyone tell me what it is for year two? Three? I am looking at buying a new house and thought I could get a rough idea of what my take home would be so I can budget correctly. I also knew I could get info here fast without bothering payroll in DAL.

Thanks,
TJ

year 2 first check of month is 3400.

You do the Math!

Take year two. three, etc trip rates and multiply them by 47.5 and you'll get your advance before taxes and 401K deductions. The 20th paycheck would then cover trips above 47.5 plus perdiem for the previous month. Confused yet?

For your purposes 47.5 times pay rate equals your 5th advance.

Cheers

Believe it or not there are a lot of factors involved with the advance. Which medical deductions you take, 401k deductions, veba, union dues, uniform deductions, taxes, pilot aid, some others I can't think of. Some are dudected on the 20th others on the 5th. Generally if you take the trip pay multiply by 90 then divide by half you will get the gross. minus your tax bracket deductions, 15% or 28% or whatever. then you will get a better idea. I think second year is around 3400.00 or so but I have all kinds of stuff taken out. I am sure that someone else will be able to give you a better answer.

Just don't make the mistake of being house poor. That is having to work 130 trips so you can make the mortgage payment.
Enjoy life!

Or spouse/kid poor, for that matter. When that boy turns 5, he should be looking at 30 hours a week.

Thanks guys for the quick responce!
