I was thinking about going to the SWA open house in DAL ( I know that RSVP date was jun 5), but it is difficult for me to get there(dal), epsecially on a saturday reduced scheudule. I was thinking of going into DFW instead. Is there a shuttle between DFW and DAL? If so, who operates it, how often, where do I catch it, and how long does it take (even better if I could get to SWA training center from DFW)?
Also is this for qualified aplicants, or should anybody be interested in attending?

SuperShuttle

I have used SuperShuttle (http://www.supershuttle.com/htm/cities/dfw.htm) to go between the two airports. It ran me approximately $25 and took about an hour (they use vans and carry multiple customers with multiple destinations; so it may take a little more time, or a little less, depending). I don't know if SuperShuttle will drop you right off at the HQ building or not, but they will drop you at DAL. Once there, there is a free shuttle that runs continuously between the terminal and HQ that runs every 30 minutes. It stages at the hotel shuttle pickup area at the outer island.

Good Luck!

For 25$ or less you could rent a car for the whole day and be on your schedule. MOst companies offer airline discounts and this late in the game you could probably get a great deal from hotwire.com or the like! Keep the stress level low and have fun!

I got a Dollar rent a car for a grand total of 33 bucks. This was for an intermediate that seats five and the price includes 12 bucks in freakin' tax. EZ Rent-A-Car has econoboxes for as little as 15 bucks, before tax ($26 with tax).

Check Travelocity for deals.

I've rented one way DFW-DAL for 24 hours for $16 including tax during training from Thrifty.

And for good deals (and additions to our profit sharing) I recommend www.southwest.com.

Good luck!
