SWA online app

Logged on to the SWA pilot app website today, clicked on the icon that allows you to register and thus start the process, however everytime I clicked on it just refreshed the page and would not allow me to register.

I've already spoken to the People Dept at SWA and they suggested that the security settings on my computor may need modifying, but I suspect that the such may just be inundated with applicants.

Anybody else having the same problem?

You're not alone.

I would:
click on "pilot"
get new page
click on "Apply Here"
new page "SWA Pilot Application Manager"
click on "Join Now"
and get a copy of the heading"SWA Pilot Application Manager"

Then I discovered the by holding down the shift key while clicking "Join Now" I could get to the next step, REGISTRATION

But I'm still stuck!

at the end of the registration it asks "how did you hear about SWA" (multiple choice question) and every choice refreshed to a new page stating "Your session has expired due to inactivity. Click here to login again."

So I tried several times TYPING AS FAST AS I COULD, and still got:

"Your session has expired due to inactivity. Click here to login again."

Thanks for your prompt reply, I was suspecting my wife's computer was the culprit(she a Mac G4) and I was about to empty my .45 into it!

Try This

I had similar frustrations. After trying twice to no avail, I decided to click where it says "done" every time it was available. It worked. It basically only allowed my basic info to get in (name, ph number, address, flying times, and answers to have you applied, tsa, other questions) then you will have a saved profile (application) and you can go back and edit in your information that should have gone in in the first place. Sounds kind of confusing, I know, but just try it and after it says "you must complete the required fields" (or something like that) it takes you to the next place.

I also talked to a friend who applied today and he said instead of clicking next (not done, but next) he clicked on the next item on the list on the left side of the page. Then, when he got to the last page, he clicked done, it said thanks for your interest in SWA, and he was able to view all information from there on out.

I talked to LL today and she said they are having problems on their end. I assume they will have the bugs worked out in the next couple days. But, you know what they say when you assume. . .

Went to the SWA website. Clicked careers. Clicked pilot. Saw the instructions at the top that state if you meet the mins click the "apply button". I don't see that button. Can anyone help to where this is?

Employment

Sorry for the change in subject.

Do you have to name references for the periods of employment or just periods of unemployment? The old paper application required references for periods of employment and unemployment. I just wanted to make sure I haven't left anything out. Any advice would be appreciated.

New Question?

After you are done with the App. and select done how is one suppose to know that the application was recieved?

Also, is it something I was doing wrong, but when I stopped for awhile and logged back on I would have to start the App. all over again. Just wondering, hope they got it.

Last category on the app

What do people have for the last category of the application when you go to check/edit it? I have the TSA information for law infractions and violations. I just want to make sure that the entire thing is completed.

Ya, I think you are done. Same thing on my app. Now just print it out and you can turn it in for your SF-96 Security Clearance update

I didn't get any replies to my earlier question on this thread. Do you have to put references down for employment or just unemployment? Old paper app had employment references.

The references will come later. Rebekah said that when you are invited for an interview, they will send out a supplement that you can put all of your references and contact numbers of past employment locations. For now, all you need is what is on the application.
