SWA Internship

Does anyone have any info about a SWA Internship? I'm actively seeking an internship in the Flight Ops Dept for the coming winter (winter in Michigan anyways). I hear its a great foot in the door to SWA. Has anyone on this board ever done an internship or know anyone that has? Any tips for making myself more visable to the intern hiring people? Thanks

I'd recommend calling SWA, ask for the Flight ops department & ask for an intern to speak with....I'm sure they will give you some good intel....probably much better than a forum....214.792.4000, ask for flight ops.

I did an internship with Flight Ops. I highly recommend it. By far, the greatest job I had while in college, especially the partying with new hire pilots and flight attendants. Even though I did not get paid. I believe they get paid now.
