Guys all of this we are better then them is very silly. Why did we become pilots? Because we love to fly? That is why I did. 12 years ago my flying carrer was off to a great start I was very lucky and could not belive I was getting paid decent money to fly airplanes, I was 23 and would have done it for free. 12 years later I have lost two jobs because the company I worked for went under. I got what I thought was every pilots dream job only to be laid off in 2001. Now I have been working for Polar Air, Is Polar Air a great job no, but I am getting paid to do some very fun flying. The bottom line is we do this because we love to fly. This industry has been shakey for 30 years. South West is in good times, good for South West, Good for Jet Blue, Tuff times will come for them, Same goes for all the Majors and any airline in this country. We all need to stick together, be happy for the guys doing well, offer understanding to the guys that are hurting. Bottom line is that we will all experince it at some point. Are carrers are only as succesful as the last carrier we chose to work for.
Best of Luck to everyone
