I'm not sure I'd be that cavalier ... assuming they will teach you everything you will need to know.

I disagree ... that you will forget much of GS when you go to the line. If you do, your first 90 days will be a living hell.

Remember all new hires have type ratings and the class we all endured was an abbreviated version because of that fact.

Now ... what I am telling you is not to get your gut twisted even before you go to DAL. Do not get sucked into lazy study habits.

The Check Airman I had for my initial PC was fair, steady, even tempered and thorough. My partner and I felt prepared, but the oral was not a 'blow off'.

We'll talk more just before you probationary PC....
