Oakland would probably be easy, especially if you are creative enough to go to SJC.
Pheonix has loads of service, but the loads can be atrocious. Houston and DAL have good levels of service, but to the "wrong" airports. LA isn't a domicile is it? If it was, it would be, by far, the easiest. But if you are smart, you'll find a domicile you like and MOVE!!! Life then gets MUCH less complicated.....
I live on the north side of CSprings. I drive to Denver, fly to MDW on ATA or Frontier. It has been cake. ATA had a 2230 flight back from MDW so I didn't even have a crash pad since I commuted both ends. That's past tense because as of June 1, it moves to 2100.
Last summer it moved to 2215 for a few months then went back. I hope that happens again so I can commute both ends again!
Phoenix works too, and is a little closer, but loads can be worse.
I have had to take UA or AA a time or two, and the train is only a buck fitty. But that eats up 1 1/2 hours of your day.
Oakland is a crummy commute, and you have to rely on United to get there.
I would live where you really want to live. If you don't care, then by all means live in a domicile. I will be here for the duration...
