Hi all -
I was just updating my SWA app and noticed a new section at the end pertaining to the PRIA. It was a statement saying SWA is required to obtain records from previous companies, yadda, yadda, yadda. Has everyone seen this on their app or is a hint an interview call may in my near future? No flame, just would like to know. I'm new to this board, but there sure seems to be a lot of people who are in the know. Thanks.

Yeah I saw this the other day too, I was a little concerned about it as one of those crossing the i's and dotting the t type things. I called the PD and they told me if you don't sign it, it won't prevent your app from being pulled. It just allows them to start the background work sooner. Hope this helps....

Unfortunately, no....it doesn't mean you're on the short list for an interview call. It was just a system change that everybody sees. I wondered the same thing as you initially, since I had obtained my 737 type(and updated my online app with that information) just a few days prior to that showing up.

You won't know you're on the "Short list" until they call you for an interview.

And also there are two new questions under "additional information".
What is you availability date (specific date required), and do you have a 4 year degree? The first question is different from the bullet question on the first page, which I believe asks if you are available within the next 12 months. I just realized I missed these on my last update, but they weren't there on my late March update, so must have surfaced some time since then.
Check everything carefully, and good luck guys/gals.

I wondered about the new addition as well. I thought I might have missed it on an earlier update. I'm glad to confirm this stuff was just added.

So do you just leave your availability date, or do you keep updating it?

I've been updating my availability date, but I'm really not too sure how far in advance to make it. I just hate to see blanks on an application, especially when theres a computer involved.
