If he meant it in that way then fine! I won't argue with you that I'm a SNAP, which is a new one to me. But if he meant it in that way he wouldn't have brought up college. And I do have a degree which I EARNED, while working 12 hours a day and going to school nights and Saturdays. Something canyon probably doesn't know about since he reminds me of one of those punks who makes it big in aviation off of mommy and daddy's dollar.

Canyon is a friend of mine and you are WAY off the mark with your comments. Why you guys think you can tell so much about someone off a few posts or aviation message board amazes me, the SWA/FO, that is.

I would love to meet you in person. I wish I could tell you why, but the moderators would ban me.....

See you at the swing sets at 3:30!

Schafjet,

Could you please PM me about Sun Country. I want to get my stuff up to date, but only have one contact at the company. Need some additional info.

Thanks,
Skeptic

Maybe so, but the last time we were open about it NWA smoked us. We have to be a little under the radar, so we can coexcist out of MSP. Unfortunetly, it is a fine line we have to walk or fly in order to succeed. However, that being said NWA is in no shape for a fight. We can grow slowly and succeed, but we will never be a big company, thus the best kept secret. NWA probably likes that we have a small market out of MSP so a SWA or Jetblue doesn't enter the market here and really slam them.

AirTran is pretty solid in MSP.. 11 flights a day. Maybe Sun Country and the Tranny should 'hook up' ? Mexico feed for the winter season. (not that they need the feed) A code share would be good for both as well.

NWA lean and mean.. who knows ... I'm going fishing.

yeah , the country clubs tiny little market share is really going to influence SWA's or JBLU's decision to enter MSP!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe it won't keep them out, who knows. The "country club" (new one to me) just keeps NWA honest so as to keep price gouging to a minimum in the MSP market. Also, if NWA does want to keep SWA and Jetblue at a distance it does make sense to leave SCA alone and allow them to grow a little. I would think that NWA would rather have little SCA have a little more market share instead of opening up the door to a couple of 400 lbs. gorillas that could eventually destroy them.

Schafjet...nice avatar LOL

Thanks!! One of my many trips to Kuwait City, taking soldiers to the start of their Iraq tour. Actually, come to think of it, we were taking them home this time. They were pretty happy and they let us play with their toys. lol.

Well, for Sun Country's sake, with their history in mergers and lack of respect for seniority, I would hope that it would be anybody but Southwest.
