Anyone else have their references called yet?

Spoke with PHX CP last week who said Aug 13th. DBs are usually on Wednesdays and calls usually BEGIN Friday but some guys do have to wait until the following week.
BTW, I know plenty of guys who interviewed this month and none of them have told me their references were checked. They are interviewing differently this year, so maybe they are conducting the prelim background checks differently as well. The references check was the first big positive indication things are going well, and it normally happened inside a week of the interview.

Just the facts...hopefully this tidbit is not a bummer for anyone. Nevertheless, I got called for references on a guy who interviewed two weeks ago. For whatever it's worth: I'm not sayin...I'm just sayin.

Good luck fellas...I hope they hire all of you, and all your friends too!! Let's get some growth up in this piece!!! Now, back to my regularly scheduled bottle of courvossier....

Buddy's references were also called this morning that interviewed in the AM on the 8th...

D'you buy the type beforehand? Heard that now with demand being lower and supply being the same, they've gone back to just ingteviewing/hiring guys with the type.

Not true. 2 buds just interviewed w/o a type and their references were called. We'll have to wait and see if they get hired.

Yea, I have the type. This was my second shot. Type was from HP.

Don't worry about the decision board. Enjoy your life at home with the family and if SWA wants you they will call, if not they will mail.

Believe me, SWA is not the savior of your
career.
