Grits
My wife's Grandfather is 96, and one day, at an IHOP (marvellous institution!) he ordered grits for me, and BLOODY HELL!! they were good! Not as good as black pudding, but pretty tasty all the same. Iced tea just doesn't cut it I'm afraid. Big tea drinker.
Don't miss the fares of England (boiled cabbage and beef) but do miss the room temp, strong ales
