I know this has been discussed many times over, however just wondering if anyone has any more info on which "position" to check on the application in regards to Captain, Instructor Pilot, or Evaluator Pilot?
I was a Check Airman and Instructor Pilot for a 121 Operator, as well as a couple of 135 outfits. Just curious as to which one to choose.
Also I hate to call LL as I know she is very busy, so hopefully someone in the "know" can fill all of us in.

Thanks to everybody and good luck to all.

Pick one

Dude: Don't waste so much time dicing mouse turds. Pick a category (I would pick Instructor) and get the app in.

Good luck.

Hmmmm

I found that a Cuisinart is best for dicing mouse turds.

Not trying to dice mouse terds, just wanting to "check" the box which shows the best qualifications possible. Everybody knows in this game when the computer spits out your name, that some formula is behind it in some way.

Thats the only reason I asked the question.
Good luck to all

Still need a good answer.

The link leaves as many questions as this thread. The pull down box on the app is in alphabetical order. That being said, if I am the PIC of a military jet, who goes on to then INSTRUCT in that jet, then becomes a STANDARDIZATION EVALUATOR in order to teach new instructors, which should I select as the "highest position held" in that aircraft?

I would have responded earlier, but I have been too busy back in the kitchen dicing mouse turds. Anyways, every time I have talked to a people dept. person at SWA they have emphasized recency of experience with progression. That means flying recently and progressing up the chain ( in the military that means going from MC to MP to IP to EP). It really is that simple. Now back to the turd dicing.

Still a little fuzzy myself.... I agree that it might be very important.. since none of us know what exactly the eyes of the SWA computers are going to be looking for.

I am a check airman..... and chose to go with Captain for that box.

Best wishes to us all.........

military?

Here I go again. In the Air Force you may go from MC to MP to IP to EP. In some of the "other" military services, you have CP, FP, AC and IP, plus others I would imagine, not having served in every military service.

I doubt that there is an actual point assigned to each category, but who knows. Again, I would pick IP (or Eval) for your situation and get it in!

Good luck.
