I thought that the new online application would ask for your original application date and those of us that have been waiting around for 2 to 3 years would get a few extra brownie points.
Does anybody know about this, or is "Joe Jan 12th, 2004" the same as "Jack Dec 1st, 2001".
I didn't see anywhere on the app where you could place the date of your original app. However, the letter LL sent said," Our records indicate that you had previously applied for a Pilot Position with Southwest Airlines on 12/07/02 and that you have a 737 Type Rating." There wasn't any mention in the letter about the date being submitted on the online app.
There is no que for past applicants. The new system is competitive and previously received apps will not be entered into the system. The requested data on previous apps/interviews is for tracking purposes only. Good luck..
I have first hand info that proves you are wrong. People with prior application dates will have an advantage over the brand new applications. Its a point system, so you get more points if you have been wanting to work at SWA and had an application already on file. No points for the bandwagon people that want to work here now because its one of the only places thats hiring. The reason for not having a box to enter past app date is because idiotic people like you would enter in some early date thinking it will help them, thus making the PD's work harder, you buttnutt.
You need to quit starting rumors Miss Rumorcontrol.
