Anybody with the latest SWA Applicant Breakdown?

Every once in a while the PD will release the latest info on what the breakdown is of those with applications in.

At the HPA Norfolk recruiting session this summer R. Krone said they had 5,500 total in the database with 900 typed.

Who has the scoop?

What about class breakdowns. Any solid (not rumor) info on that?

Just went to the HPA/SWA gathering in PNS where Rebekah from SWA and Joe from HPA hosted about 50 of us and gave us the scoop on whats going on.
Not a bunch of hard numbers but she said they will be interviewing indefinetly and hoping to put 550-750 thru class in 2005. Hiring will continue until 2012, beyond that they dont know.
In addition, SWA might be looking at some 737-800s from another airline to purchase.
Right now their are approx 8,000 apps on file, however she said those include out of date apps that dont drop out in 6 months and apps that someone started and never finished. Roughly 5000 qualified, no number of those with type ratings.
Seems that the competitive min for turbine PIC is around 1500-1600.
40-60% get job offers out of the interview process. Usually around 50%.
