At the end of the app it asks "have you EVER been convited or plead guilty to a traffic violation." Would you mark down yes even if it is not listed anywhere on your driving record both State and National Driver Registry? It also asks for date, city, etc. I recieved a speeding ticket somewhere in Georgia when I was a teenager but cant remember when or where! Any ideas of how I should tackle this one?

Here is a post by "Dal737fo" in the thread "speeding tickets and SWA App":

"This is straight from Lindsey Lang in response to my question.

The question does mean any ticket you may have gotten. Our
recommendation is to go ahead and put what you remember, even if all it
is the Month/Year and State the ticket was given. Southwest pulls a
National Drivers Record and if something pulls up that you didn't
disclose it is much harder to fix than if you just go ahead and fill in
the question. I hope this helps, feel free to call me at 214-792-5446
if you need anything else!

We are looking forward to a busy year of interviews!
Lindsey

Ms. Lang,

Sorry to bother you however I have a question on your online
application. Is the question "At any time, have you EVER been convicted
of or pled guilty to a traffic or moving violation?" refering to any
ticket you may have gotten in your life or does it refer to violations
that make you famous (i.e. reckless/careless driving) Thank you in
advance for your help."

Seems pretty clear to me from reading that whole thread, plus the way the question is worded itself (that little "ever" word), that yes, you should put it down.

I had the same problem. I knew I had tickets but couldn't remember very many details about them. Nothing was showing on my driver's records from the states where I got them. I just put down as best as I could remember what the tickets were for and when they happened.

A/C Flown vs just type-rating

There's a section in the app that allows you to input the different a/c and hours you've flown, position held, and whether or not you had a type in the a/c. Regards the 737 type-rating, if that's all the 737 experience I have, should I add the 737 in with zero hours flown but the type-rating box checked?

SWA does ask earlier in the app if you've got a 737 type rating so my initial reaction is to not list the 737 in the aircraft flown section. Any words?

73 time

my guess is if you got your type by doing sim training only then you probably shouldnt check that section. The sim time (as Im sure you know) cant be counted towards total time in your logbook so I would think that SWA doesnt want anyone to check the 737 in that section unless you have actual time in type.

Hey guys I believe level D sim time does count for total for the FAA. However, for the SWA it does not as there is a stipulation on what types of flight time they consider eligible to be included in their flight time grid.
