Call me crazy, but...
I don't know about SKYW...but take a good hard look at ExpressJet's branded operation and compare some of those destinations to a WN routemap. Tack on the fact that XJT is a union house (as some say will be required for a codeshare), has the personnel in the right cities to flip the switch on such an operation overnight, and the fact that it would be a nice way to slap the face of another Texas based airline that spurned them...and I see a possible codeshare partner.
But, maybe that's just the overthinking 'spatcher in me talking.
I dont believe it either way but things that make you go hmmm... XJT has options for 100 nex XR's. Its like anything in this industry dont believe it till you see it.
