After kicking around a lot of options there will be an adapter to use the aircraft's power for charging

Then wifi to connect aircraft GPS as an input to ipad for moving map. Talk even of someday loading flights start to finish on one ipad, and Bluetooth the data to other ipad.

Sure there is.

The timeline for these additional features is, based on FAA bureaucracy, "one of these days." And I'm pretty sure that's firm.
