Maybe "waiting for numbers" and windchecks enhance fuselage integrity. As former UAL and now big D you should know that your airline's next incident/screwup/media pounding is only a matter of time away and those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
 
We get it OYS, you are a SWA hater. I've flown SWA numerous times, and can count on on hand the number of "hard" landings you speak of. I guess you being at Delta feel others to be inferior to your superior pilot skills?!?!

You are right, it could happen anywhere. But 6 planes ready to open up? That ain't good. Not throwing rocks here. Maybe relaxing the turn times will allow for smoother handling thanks to less pressure. Don't worry, ATL will show you how to have patience. No inboard runway landings, waiting to cross after 20 departures, etc. You'll LUV it.

Trying to point blame elsewhere. When Boeing questions what has happened, that should say something. Easy fix though, just change your landing procedures, and your turn times to allow for more taxi time. If it saves planes and potential lives, you should be all for it. Safety first, right?

Boeing had a bad run on the factory line and you want to blame the Southwest pilots? How does that work for the other Aircraft during that period that are flown by other carriers? You make no sense. Sorry.
 
Putting it on hard and grabbing the binders is just something you can't get away with on the wide bodies as a landing at 490,000 lbs will break things every time if you operate hard and aggressively.

Well, then....I saw an A-380 land in LAX the other day that is destined for a short life indeed...
