Great news for those of us awaiting training and those looking to have a shorter swim.
Just got off the phone with a buddy of mine who's in the 13 December class. Besides Luving training, he passed on some words they learned in class today.
SWA will have 4 classes of 20 trainees in the month of January instead of 3 and is pushing up their February class to 9 Feb (that's a wednesday though, so maybe he meant 7 Feb?).
I'm in the 3 Jan class and got word that the Renaissance Hotel is FULL, so our class will be staying at the Sharaton Suites across the freeway. Not familiar with it, but each room is a Suite (so comes with a refridgerator and microwave...another room for setting up your chairfly posters) and they honor the 1-2-3 rule...so can't be all that bad
. I don't know if future classes will be at the Renaissance or the Sharaton, but just a craniums up for future preflight planning.
Can any current SWA folks comment on the Sharaton? High speed internet access? Food? Close to the training center? Also, maybe you can pin down that Feb start date--thanks.
