I fear that a rather poor career decision made a year-and-a-half ago may have cost my app some serious points, and I may be at the bottom of the pile for quite some time. (left a regional captain job to fly 737's for a troubled major -- didn't seem like a really bad idea at the time, but that's another, long story . . .) call.

Jon:

I wouldn't be so hard on yourself. SW flies, let's see....737's? And you've been flying, what; 737's? You may have in fact enhanced your marketablility. PIC is overrated. Right seat in a 737 is far better preparation and experience than left seat in a regional. I've been there.

Your friend,

Fletch

Reep -- thanks for the encouragement. The opportunity to get some experience in the 737 is why I left the regional.

Good to hear from a fellow Fletch fan! :D
