I heard this on my local news station here in Vegas that South West is thinking of doing operations to Mexico and Canada in the very near future. They said the Mexican destinations would be the tourist traps such as Cabo and Cancun. No detail on the Canadian markets. Perhaps this has been posted already.

Well, if it's local news, it must be true.

Gary Kelly just said in the recent speach given at UNLV that the SW computer reservation system was years away from being able to handle the international reservations.

Everytime I hear "so and so is going international" I think..."How are they gonna get them 737s across the pond?"

Yeah...but PHX to EGLL is considerably farther!

Yep, and since phx is SWA HQ and the only place they fly many flights out of>>>>........ well you know what's next.

We already fly international "TEXAS" - have been doing it for years.
