Couldn't they just pull it off the web so those at home couldn't complain and leave it on company computers for the purpose of doing business. For it to be completely down for the entire day this seems like a more plausable explanation.

It may be extended depending on how long the company network is down. It doesn't affect FLiCA, but employees at work have to have internet access to bid, hence the delay.

I'm pretty sure Delta couldn't care less. They don't want their passengers to know who we are anyway. If we're too embarrassed to utter the name in public it would work towards that objective.

The service provider's fiber optic line got cut. I doubt we have enough employees to deny service due to volume for two days straight around the clock.

Why not? It's the same pimpely faced kid who knocked up the V.P. Of internal Culture's niece and now has to support the kid and new wife. Playing World of Warcraft wasn't paying the bills, so they made him the V.P of IT.
