It's obvious reading comprehension isnt one of your strengths.

Glad to see you confirm that for everyone else here on the board.

I wouldn't be able to list your faults here Family Ghey... not enough room.

Descriptive Classifications of Intelligence Quotients IQDescription% of Population

130+ Very superior 2.2%
120-129 Superior 6.7% (Family Ghey... barely hanging on)
110-119 High average 16.1%
90-109 Average 50%
80-89 Low average 16.1%
70-79 Borderline 6.7%
Below 70 Extremely low 2.2%

I stand by my point, goon. A mere 120 is nothing more than slightly above average... barely deserving the title "superior"... But that is a good description for you as a person, isn't it? One small change in the IQ scale and...

Family Ghey: barely superior and not really deserving of the title. He's a small man.

FlyLow 22...is 22 your real IQ score?

Read Family Guy's score again...it's 152.

Where shall I send the "Hooked on Phonics" course to?

FG, everyone seems to have an opinion about unions. And really, who's to say who's right? Obviously, nothing anyone says here, or anywhere else, will change your mind.
And based on my experience with unions (so far, NJA is the only union I've ever been a part of) I'm thinking they aren't so bad. So nothing you, or anyone else, says is going to change my mind.

That's fine.

But here's a question for that really big brain of yours: In spite of what we see in the news about our economy, our country still enjoys one of the highest standards of living in the world. Translation: people are still making good wages and decent benefits (although that is slowly being eroded and becoming of greater concern for the average working American). So my question is, what, in your opinion, effect have unions had on our country's prosperity and standard of living? Do you think we'd be doing this well without them? Or worse? Maybe better? Is it possible they've helped raise the standards? (ala the CS and Flex raises that 'coincidentally' happened shortly after our contract ratification). Why did labor unions come to exist? Was it a bunch of overpaid, greedy factory workers just trying to put the screws to their companies? Did it have anything to do with the fact that the average working American family used to have to send their KIDS to work in the factories just to make ends meet? I wonder what we, at NJA, would be making right now without our union. We certainly know what it was when we only had a weak union.

You know, there's good and bad in everything. Not just unions. But certainly there are some unions out there that may be on a power trip, or just plain greedy. Or perhaps just ineffective. But in my opinion, when looking at the big picture, they are a good thing.

Looking forward to your answers to my questions big brain (aka FamilyGuy).

PS- Just to keep this thread at least a little on track, I have routinely scored well over 130 on different IQ tests. And who the heck cares?! High IQ's don't mean you know how to use that intelligence (ie: domiciles were to allow more direct airlining. Doh!)

Hawkered,

You should take the IQ test. You would see from Family Ghey's message above referencing his winning of $1,200 that he was paid $100 per IQ point that his score is 120... barely superior. Then again, maybe you shouldn't.

I'll take that bet. You can donate my $1,200 winnings to charity.

Furthermore, my IQ is 125.

FLYLOW22, your IQ score is 125

Your overall intelligence quotient is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly. But it's only part of what we learned about you from your answers on the test. We also determined the way you process information.

The way you think about things makes you an Imaginative Mastermind. This means you are an extremely talented person, with a wide range of skills. There is little to nothing you can't do if you want to. You're very creative and you can express your ideas effectively through a variety of different means whether it's written or spoken words, numbers, or anything else. You also have a practical knowledge of how things work in the world — you've been paying attention and you pick things up easily.
How did we determine that your thinking style is that of an Imaginative Mastermind? When we examined your test results further, we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you an Imaginative Mastermind. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities.

Find out which intelligence dimensions you scored highest on and how your IQ score compares to others in your personalized, 31-page Super IQ Report.

Further-furthermore,

On most standardized tests, an IQ of 100 is at the 50th percentile. Most of our IQ tests are standardized with a mean score of 100 and a standard deviation of 15. What that means is that the following IQ scores will be roughly equivalent to the following percentiles:

IQ Percentile

120 91%
125 95%
130 98%

Family Ghey didn't even score high enough to get above the 91st percentile. Most academic institutions now score any percentage below a 94 as a "B" grade.

I got an "A".

Any one that uses an IQ test from the
Internet
and thinks that is there real IQ needs to be sterilized. We don't need that kind of person to procreate.

Pretty funny when you make a statement about someone's IQ and use the wrong spelling of "their" in the same sentence. This site cracks me up.

FLYLOW22, your IQ score is 125

This is like fingernails on a chalkboard.

Flylow, people have tried to point out your error twice and you still don't see it. I'll work you through it so that I hope you don't miss it this time. You have correctly stated FamilyGuys assertion. IF his IQ score was 120 and he was willing to pay $100 per point, that would be 100*120 = $12,000 not $1200.

However, FG did not say that. You quoted him after all. Read it again. Gunfyter said he would pay $100 for every point difference between himself (at 140) and FamilyGuy (at 152).

152-140 = 12
12* $100 = $1200

This is the amount FamilyGuy suggested gunfyter owed FamilyGuy due to the 12 point difference in their IQ's. At 152, FG is well into the top 1%.

Take it from a 1 percenter. You missed the point.

Union man, I take it?

LOL...I've got an IQ of 184. Take it from a .35 percenter.

Now, how the hell can anyone prove their IQ ~ especially on this site? Gimme a friggin' break.

Hell, you guys are aiming too high. We're only pilots by the way. You need to miss a few questions on purpose to keep that quotient down to a respectable 100. Keeps the expectations reasonable. If we were all that smart anyway, we'd be doing something else. Oh, well. Back to Sanford and Son reruns.
