One of my buddies here at school got his logbook stolen lastnight. His along with 4 other vehicles were all robbed. I know he can retrace his flights by the reciepts from the school. However what does he do about the endorcements? Does he have to track down the CFI's that are now working at other places?

The short answer, yes. It would be a very good idea in the future to copy your log book, then every month copy new pages.

It happend to me, I was lucky, I had copies made, it still sucked though.

Which endorsements does your friend need? Unless he was signed off for a checkride, or a written test and is taking it soon, which ones does he feel he needs to replace? Just curious.

I guess he might, if he doesn't already hold the rating or certificate the endorsements pertain to. Does your friend already have his ratings?

You can't rob a vehicle, dwelling, storage locker, space shuttle, telephone pole, nor an industrial or commercial building.

Actually you can rob a vehicle, it's happened to me....

No...you rob a person. You cannot rob an object. Robbery occurs when you use force or the threat of force to take possessions from a person. I know the tv anchor man calls it robbing a house...but it's part of their master plan, the media's secret agenda to make Americans more dumber.

Force was used to take a car away form me, would that qualify as being robbed?

FN FAL is correct in the legal defination. You cannot rob an object, only a person. But you can commit burgulary (forced entry into a dwelling with intent to commit a crime) such as larcecy, theft, rape, etc.

I think illegal auto entry would be breaking and entering and larceny.
