State to file

There has been a large amount of discussion of where to collect unemployment from. What are your experiences? Did you file in your state of:domicle,base,fsdo certificate held, corporate offices?

I filed a "combined claim" through Michigan (where I live) funny thing is that I had no qualifing earnings from MI. Makes things take a little longer and it's more of a pain but it's been a much nicer vacation than the 5 days Mesaba would have cancelled on me.
