Supicious Device Found

Hartsfield/ Jackson International Airport Atlanta Georgia Sunday August 05, 2007 .
At approximately 10:30 AM Bomb Technician Jonnie Botts received a call to the International Concourse on a suspect device that was found
by the aircraft cleaning crew.

The cleaning personnel who found the device removed the device from under the passenger seat of an aircraft that just let the passengers off, moved it to the boarding hallway and contact the Atlanta police. ( gee that was real smart of them)
Officer Botts interviewed the cleaning crew and learned that the device had a toggle switch, a light indicator with wires coming out from the device. Officer botts x-rayed the package conducted render safe procedures and found it to be an iPod Charger.

The flight came from Dallas Texas. No passenger returned to the gate to claim the charger. It would be nice to know if the TSA has a bulletin out on these devices.

These devices can be purchase thru the internet as how to build a iPod charger or can come in easy how to build kits. Also comes with USB portable chargers.

Some where there is a heartbroken spikey haired FO with a dead iPod. It probably fell out of his backpack?
