Hi!

DW: Where DID you go? Baxter may have told me, but I don't remember.

Here's the latest:
JP put in his notice for Emirates.
AA put in his for a local charter/frac in DFW.
SZ, after a short return, put his in for Big Kalitta.

Supposedly, we have several guys also leaving before XMas, maybe 2 to NWA.

There are at least 3 in the interview pool for NetJets.

I'm now on the -9, with 1 Falcon guy and the first off-the street guy since 2002 (3 of us in the class).
EG, JO, DD and DvS are all -9 captains.
There was a new -9 FO class behind ours of 5 pilots. There's another new one starting now of 6.

We've gotten 5+ from Midwest (Mesa) lately.

Hope your new job is better!!!

Cliff,

It's been a few years since I worked there....so I don't understand your code. I think I can put together a few of the initals...but not all of them. LOL. Anyway PM me if you want.

I went west.....flying red tails in my Johnny Cash suit.

"While it is easy to blame the individual gate agents, I feel these espisodes reflect a bigger problem. Our agents are overworked, understaffed, poorly trained, and there is a lack of quality control. "

Correct, the company views them (as it does all employees) simply as a disposable commodity. When used up, they are replaced with a new (lower cost) replacement. Quality control is not a consideration, only money is.
