What's the secret to getting an interview there? Do they even look at anyone without an internal rec? I've had my stuff in there for years without a nibble. Now I live a few miles from the HQ. Will it help to walk a resume in there myself? Any Spirit guys want to help me break the code?

Definitely think it would not hurt to walk your stuff in....and the internal recommendations do help. The fact that you are "local" helps a lot as well. Contact your connection and ask him to be a bit more proactive with you. Otherwise...your resume is right where it needs to be...just the whole patience thing applies..as we already know. I wish you luck and I hope it happens for you soon. Spirit really is a fun company to work for...i left a great flying job to come here. The company really is turning into an exciting long term prospect....

Heyas MD,

They no longer will take any walk-in material. Everything has to be submitted electronically. They won't let you past the receptionist to talk to anyone, either.

Or at least this was the case 6 months ago.

www.airlineapps.com is the only way to apply.

That is correct they will only look into the airlineapps system for applicants. There is a section in the app where you email any folks that you know there that can write you a LOR. They send it back to be attached in your app.

Good luck all!!

thanks for the update....did not know of the change...keep your fingers crossed because I am doing my skyhawk check out today...God help us all!
