No, they come with either IAE V2500 or GE CFM-56; the choice is up to the airline. IIRC, the IAE V2500 is the cheaper option.



My previous research had the IAE engine as a more expensive but slightly more fuel efficient albeit lower thrust option than the GE.

And yes, the IAE has a Pratt component... part of the hot section I believe.

Of course prices are always subject to change.
 
V-2500 major contractors:


Pratt: HP turbine, diffuser, combustor, turbine exhaust cases.

Rolls: HP compressor, gear box.

MTU: LP turbine

JAE: LP compressor, fan cases
 
yeah, our a319 have the Iae v2524-A5...24000 punds....

the 321 have the IAEv2533-a5.....32,500 pounds.
