Death

Yes there is. The old man passed on many years ago.

Wish there was an operation like the old Harrah's.

Twatter flyin' into the Middle Fork lodge, Robertson 206s, and a DC-9 and Falcon for long distance stuff.
I guess there's a reason it went away...

McCall Air: Ce560 (still looking for a pilot or two - it's a new jet for them)
Just curious: When did they get a Citation? I spend about 5 months out of the year in McCall and haven't seen it on the ramp yet. I'll be up there next weekend so I'll have to look for it.

Personally, I think there's going to be a lot more corporate stuff around Boise in the coming years.

I heard about it for the first time 3 weeks ago. It showed up in BOI last Saturday and this is where it will be based. McCall doesn't own it though. The story I heard was that there were a group of 8 different owners who had a Lear 35 with Conyan and sold it in favor of this 560. Conyan couldn't get the numbers to work, so the owners started looking around to get someone to lease it. And that is just what McCall did, and that's why it has to be based at BOI.

Probably also because I doubt there are any instrument approaches to McCall, or if there are, most likely a RNAV with high minimums. Not a good place to scud run. Not that I haven't. (and scared the crap outa myself...)
Lots of aluminum in those hills, some from friends of mine.

Actually, he sold out to Holiday Inn (I think) long before that.

I know this is a Corporate board, but have you thought about any of the Supp carriers. A bunch of them are home based and they airline you too and from your home airport. No stress of commuting. The flight cancels, is full, or diverts? No worries... Anyways, Focus (start-up 74-200 out of FLL) is hiring and finally running classes. Southern looks like they'll need another class late summer or fall (especially if guys keep bailing). Evergreen is hiring -200 pilots. Anyways, just an idea if you want to not commute, but don't mind travelling a bit still...
