You're looking for logic from a liberal. Don't waste your time. You'll never find any.

The irony is funny...not to mention stupid.

What is truly not logical is your lumping of all those under one political label as exclusively illogical. I understand, making things a nice simple black and white makes it so you don't tire your brain and actually have to think.

This is what is wrong with our country today, everyone has one extreme idea or another. Look at things logically, regardless of excuses or hidden agendas our president may have had going into Iraq. Saddam was a bad person and is personally responsible for more than 50 times the deaths our military has sustained while in Iraq. We have removed a very bad person from power from a very powerful country, why us you ask? We are one of only a handful of countries capable of delivering the militia required for the task...consider it our favor to the world and the people of Iraq weather they realize it or not. Next time youre walking around the mall be thankful to the fact you dont have to worry about being blown up by some pipe bomb and maybe you will voluntarily stop by the tie rack and pick up a nifty american flag tie for yourself.

I don't buy it. Dethroning Saddam did/does not prevent bombings in malls. It certainly wouldn't have had an effect on terrorist attacks on federal buildings.

My patriotism is not expressed in wearing some friggin tie or wrapping a flag around my head with which to blind myself. My patriotism is expressed in scrutiny, skepticism and not toeing the line, as it should be.

Dethroning Saddam may not have made it more safe in our malls but when the dust settles the bottom line is the world will be a better place with him gone and out of power. If you cant appreciate that reality it might make me think you show some sort of support for what he was doing to his people, or the people he made his.

Does it really matter what our excuse was for going into Iraq or why we really went into Iraq? Get over your hatred for our president and your blurred blue vision and show some appreciation for the troops who have had died not for OUR country but for a country who needed our help...those are the ultimate hero's.

If you want to do your part to make this world a better place try looking at these events from all angles and around the propaganda that surrounds everything. I dont care how you express your patriotism or if you even have any. Extreme beliefs are what lead to irrational decisions (blowing up malls, exterminating 100,000 ********************es or just ignorant comments made on an aviation forum.)

This is perposterous and you're a whack job if you think that a dissenting opinion means support of Saddam....you're one to talk about "extreme beliefs"

D@mn right it matters why we went to Iraq. To disregard this is removing accountablity and responsibility. Just because you're relatively safe here doesn't make this a friggin game pal.

You have made it quite apparent that you're very familiar with "Extreme beliefs" (reference your 1st paragraph) and ignorant comments (reference your posts in this thread).

Waka your patiotism is expressed by..." blame America first". It's all our fault. No good ever came from anything we have achieved. I have never understood why people like you even live here. Why don't you move to Canada. Wait in Canada they monitor web sites and phone calls to stop terriorists. You better stay here they don't need another lib.

Where did you get "blame America first"? Some right wing radio host, Fox News or whoever it is that spoonfeeds your politics to you? There is a big difference between "blame America first" and participating in the system of checks and balances. Your "if you don't like it leave" attitude is abjectly unpatriotic. The worse thing one can do for their country is blindly toe the line or march in lockstep with an administration's flawed policies.

It is not mandatory to wear the American Flag ties at SWA; however, it would be great if they made it mandatory. That way, all pilots would have to wear them.
If they really want to be patriotic, they should make em wear red white and blue stripped pants, with matching tennis shoes, a white belt, a red shirt and a blue tie.

Waka, You are right! March in lock step with Susan Surround sound,Barbara Striesand, Mike Moore, Dennis Kucinich, Tim Robins, Cindy Shehan, Sean Penn Rep. Mc Cormick, and others who all see the USA as an evil empire. I am sure you are a patriot, but you only seem to regurgetate "Air America" lib speak so come down off your high horse. Show me some original thoughts on your part.

I would rather serve in our military to defend our country for any cause, than stand among cowards crying "woe is me" like a bunch of pablim puking cry babies.
