I did a quick search on jumpseating and was curious on how pilot's at either of these airlines feel about NetJets pilots trying to bum a ride as a jumpseater out of Midway. I used to jumpseat a lot back when I had an airline job, it's been a few years and just wanted to see if it's even worth my while trying this since I now work at a fractional. Thanks.

Please no flames :)

If you're on the Open Skies list (I think you are) and there is a seat in the back, you're welcome to it at AirTran. Make sure to stop up front, and have your stuff.

NetJets, or at least the way you spelled it is not on our current jumpseat list the way I read it. Its pretty easy to get on the list and wil require some effort on your part. You will need letterhead from your company and send a letter to our Director of Flight Ops requesting it. Post 9-11 may have some other restrictions I may not be aware of but we have "ALOT" of jumpseaters (121 and 135) on the list and many airlines with multiple unlimited jumpseats. Also it never hurts to ask the Captain! ;-)
