For the SWA wannabes from an assist. chief within the SWA system:
First classes in mid Jan. Two a month. Hiring 400 in '04. Subject to change. Always on the look out for more airplanes. Nobody will hear of such an off the books purchase until it happens--got burned back with Nashville.
Interviewing will resume about the same time, the poolies should take the hiring out until april or so. Interview board captains are being interviewed right now. The entire application process will be online. All people with applications on file will have to reapply, that's right reapply. The 737 type is gone to apply, still applies to getting hired. 737 typed applicants will be at the head of the virtual stack.
