The 7000 foot limitation is imposed by the FAA due to the lack of experience of Jet Blue Crews.
There are some operational constraints (like use of MED brakes), but no limits on use of less than 7000 foot runways.

Most folks operating the 320 into MDW aren't always full like we are...

tell that to SWA. LOL!!!

in all seriousness ATA operates 757-300's (at one time I think they held 270+) and 737-800's (175 paxs) and often operated with full paxs loads, summer and winter, but I don't know if that would work with longer range fuel loads but it sure seemed too with ATA at least flying some long range stuff out of MDW. i don't know if the bus has just got worse runway performance or what but you would think it shouldn't even be an issue. certainly NWA has flown the 320 into here and I think Frontier also. the SWA and ATA runway excursions you mentioned both sadly had little to do with runway length and more with other issues well covered before.

These 14 gates will be split between probably 3 carriers.....AirTran, Jetblue, and AWA.
I have finally figured out your analytical strategy. Keep flailing wildly, and sooner or later odds are youll guess something correctly. I dont think this is it. But your day is coming. I can feel it.

Hang in there chief.

MDW lengths

Incorrect.

31C is 6522, 4R however is less than 6500, it is 6446.

You're too funny. And how often do you fly into MDW Mr. American Icon?

LMAO!!! LOWIQUR is back. I think he finally took that $49 aviation intro lesson to double his knowledge of aviation.

Knowing that he passed that mail order course for his career in insurance sales scam man, there must be some course on airline management out there given his renewed ramblings.

Try taking a B-727 off to LAX out of MDW, summer time flaps 25 - Packs off. Legal but not real smart but we did it for years without an incident.

I did lose years off my life though.

Most folks operating the 320 into MDW aren't always full like we are; our typical landing weights with a full load (156 pax) are around 137-140,000 pounds... You need to make those widebody pax buy two seats like WN.

Actually, I need to sell one more credit life insurance policy to some toothless incestuous hillbilly from Appalachia before I can afford that lesson. I think you would be a perfect candidate.

I'm having a cocktail party to celebrate reaching the million dollar round table once again and we need entertainment. Since you played such a mean banjo in Deliverance, maybe you could pry yourself away from your crashpad roommate long enough to play.
Tyro!

Whhhooooaaaaaa million dollar club ....ooohhh I'm so impressed. And a round table at that. Is this some type of circle jerk for you and your other insurance idiots? I know you're a bit slow so I'll clarify the sarcasm. Round table...Circle jerk? Get it? I thought it would take a minute to sink in, if at all.

Cocktail parties even??????...My oh my I really missed out on the wonderful life of selling insurance door to door. I can picture it now, a bunch of drunk know it alls commiserating about posting on insurancedouchebagforums.com about every subject from ladies apparel to aviation. Naturally you’ll be wearing your best polyester suit that your new found millions can buy. I'll bet you'll really impress the local barfly in the Holiday Inn lounge. You may even get lucky with a woman this time, assuming she is drunk enough of course. But just think, you could impart this vast knowledge of aviation and finally have someone actually believe you.

As far as looking for people to scam, you should sell them past your own family tree for a change. Broaden your sales base. Go for it, you can do it.

I take it also that you still have not been able to double your knowledge on aviation with that intro ride? Stroking yourself at the end of the runway watching the airliners take off does not count Lowiqer.

I never thought I'd see the day but it looks like AirTran has LUV "pinging". I mentioned it before and I'll say it again. I don't think there is a smarter airline management team than that at AirTran right now. ( I am a little biased, however). Rest assured if AirTran wants those gates then we'll get them. Negotiations with ATA, Chicago and other important parties have been going on since before SWA even knew there might be gates available. On the other hand, as I previously mentioned this may just be a huge smoke-screen to force SWA or others to pay significantly more for those gates while we run an "end around" somewhere else.

That's no farming tool,

Sorry, at some point, bad taste has to be recognized. See you in 3 days. Until then, enjoy the game sitting it out.
