Sweet!! I wonder why the company is witholding this from us :). Can't wait.

Nawww.... they are definitely not going to Flint..... No LaQuinta.... I also understand there is a very restrictive taxi speed imposed on all taxiways.

Heard the rumor that SWA is going to go to FNT.

No, you didnt.

I suppose that anything is possible, but why would SWA want to serve Flint? Might they be thinking of pulling out of Detoilet? It certainly doesn't seem like a very good rumor. If you want to start one, try something like SWA going to Cancun.

enigma

Interesting...the truth is that SWA can waive the LaQuinta policy as long as there is a Motel 6 in the tri-state area.

As far as the taxi situation, our policy clearly states "SWA will not start service at any airport facility that will not allow the 'Airtran cutoff manuever' or taxi speeds near VR".

Would have been nice though.

Question

Is it my imagination or are the Citrus guys bitter towards SWA? They seemed to love everyone before the bk court decided to go with the SWA/ATA deal.

regards,

Juan

Flint would be beyond stupid. The only time I want to go to Flint is to fly Michael Moore's relatives up there to be with him on his deathbed. Of course I personally mean him no harm. As for the La Quinta, I am not sure that was supposed to be a slam on our hotels, but we stay in some darn nice ones. And I don't think a La Quinta is among them. As for taxi speeds, we are tweaking those too, but just like all those blue hairs going 45 mph with their left blinker on in the passing lane, SLOW DOESN"T EQUATE TO SMART OR SAFE!!! It simply means SLOW!!

What's wrong with La Quinta's? nice free breakfast in the morning.

Free high speed internet. Oh, and always the 1-2-3 that no other carrier has.

Better have a whole lot of seat belt extenders for that one, or, as I like to call them, "Shamu Harnesses".

As a native Michigander I can tell you that Flint is almost unique: one of a handful of cities in the world that can make Detroit look good in comparison.
