You know, at Hobby we have some retired -200's. We've been lining them up on rarely used taxiways so we can practice our "Cut Airtran Off " maneuver.

Flint would be beyond stupid. The only time I want to go to Flint is to fly Michael Moore's relatives up there to be with him on his deathbed. Of course I personally mean him no harm. As for the La Quinta, I am not sure that was supposed to be a slam on our hotels, but we stay in some darn nice ones. And I don't think a La Quinta is among them. As for taxi speeds, we are tweaking those too, but just like all those blue hairs going 45 mph with their left blinker on in the passing lane, SLOW DOESN"T EQUATE TO SMART OR SAFE!!! It simply means SLOW!!

Mr. Moore has his own airplane and pilots. He pays them very well BTW. Other family members ofter use the jet also.

The above post is just FYI, nothing bad in meaning towards SWA or any other airline or any person on this board.

Is that why I keep seeing dead tortoises on the taxiways at HOU? You guys ought to move up to something a little faster to practice on, like gators.

There is good everywhere, including Atlanta. I think FNT would be a smart move. I think AirTran makes $$ out of there flying to Florida. Not so much the city of Flint but the surrounding area, big bucks. Just like Detroit, its the surrounding area (we call it the suburbs) that have all the $$. These areas also have some real nice real estate, lakes, rolling hills & trees.... you name it, we got it. Except SWA flying into FNT.

I know that is hard to believe for some of you that like bashing on our major cities, here in Michigan.
