This position is located in Orlando, FL.
Overall Responsibilities: Responsible for assuring /integrity of flight information and the synchronization of aircraft movement data within operational information systems.
Roles and Responsibilities:Monitor the ACARS system to ensure that times are transmitting into FliteTrac Plot, and protect the integrity of flight following information. Document and correct all reported ACARS discrepancies. Initiate responses for and escalate all flight following related system outages and major discrepancies as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. Coordinate with stations and SOC to enter accurate and timely flight information. Including obtaining correct times when ACARS times are not transmitting automatically. In coordination with the ATC Network Manager and SOC DM, ensure all delay times are flowed and cascaded in all operational systems in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure revised times are synchronized in all systems.Track excessive taxi delays and alert other SOC crew members when excessive times reach the pre-determined escalation levels. Perform daily ACARS time audits. Perform other audits as assigned (DCD, FTWeb, EMO, Landing, etc.). Communicate all flight time changes with the appropriate Station, Planning Unit or SOC Crew Members. Alert other SOC Planning Unit Crew Members of all high impact delays that may negatively affect the operation. Assist the Passenger Planners as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:One year experience in airport customer service or related service field. Education may be substituted. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi task effectively. Ability to work various shifts including: weekends, holidays and extended hours during abnormal operations if required. Good communication and problem solving skills. Strong computer skills, Ms excel, Ms word, Ms PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:Airport customer service or operations experience. Bachelor’s Degree in aviation or business related field.
 
Being in MCO this sounds like something on the Airtran side of LUV.

There will be a new facility built for the OCC just across the street from HDQ that will open in 2014. The parking will suck, big time, until then, but once we relocate, it will get much better.
