You're basing your comments on droping one flight in MKE and adding 11 in DEN, which makes WN the second largest in DEN. I know what you're thinking - one day Republc will be the new Southwest. Good luck with that.

Adding flights while losing money in DEN, WOW what a concept. But hey Southwest is #2 in DEN! What ever floats your boat over there.

Almost forgot how you guys were going to run us out of MKE.......what happened to that?

Who says we are losing money in DEN? Source?

SWAPA (back in August).
Actually Gary Kelly himself said at the PHX message to the field that "that was an untrue rumor. That there was no way SWA would grow so quickly in a city if we weren't doing well."

Bob Fornaro, Airtran CEO, has always maintained he would rather compete with Southwest vs Delta as Southwest's business decisions have historically been much more rational than Delta's. That leads me to believe that either Southwest is already profitable in Denver or is going to continue to compete agressively until there are only two big players in Denver. Neither one of those scenarios is good for Republic's plans in Denver longterm.

Two airlines that continue to do better then you in DEN??

MKE-TPA, who else flys that... Thinking.....thinking......

I see Frontier is stopping that route on April 18, I wonder why. Drinking...Drinking.

I guess Airtran is kicking everyones butt.

Sorry we ruined your chance at a quick upgrade at WN, how are your load factors out in DEN?
I don't know about Denver load factors, but systemwide Southwest load factors have been up tremendously year over year as their Bags Fly Free campaign seems to be working. I am just glad Southwest isn't doing 150 departures a day out of Atlanta. It would be tough for anyone to make alot of money if there were three strong airlines competing aggressively in the ATL.
