I can only hope GK and company puts the same gun to your head on your next contract, you guys are in for a rough ride. Pain is coming, mark my words.

Fee-fi-fo-fum,
I smell the blood of a SOUTHWEST PILOT,
Be he live, or be he dead
I'll grind his bones to make my bread

Sure, just note that before you put that gun to our noggin that you gave industry leading wages to a company you bought yet soon decided to offload more than half the planes yet keep those expensive high paid pilots, and took a 30% increase yourself, Mr GK. Also, gave industry leading contract to dispatch just last month, mechanics six months ago, and on and on.

I think that gun is a water pistol.

Did I miss anything?

We probably won't make more, but we sure as heck aren't going for less.

What I found comical was the message just a few days ago that said how it was necessary to break out the two carriers' performance numbers, because "we're really two separate carriers right now", but when it comes to finance numbers, they don't want to do that.

Why is that? ;)

SWA pay rates are available to Airtran pilots as they transition to the SWA side and after January 1, 2015. This isn't about telling someone to get over it. All pilots who voted either for or against, collectively are yes voters when a Side Letter passes. How we individually accept and move forward is unique to each of us. So the thread is about earnings and it turns into SWA vs DAL, and integration remarks. You know in public when I come across current Airtan and DAL crews I never stop and think I wonder how I can be as toxic as I read on flightinfo.

Ooh, ooh! Pick me! Pick me! I know! *Hand waving frantically* ;)

SEC filings and DOT/FAA numbers are completely different. Apples and oranges.

'The reason is simple, that in many ways, we continue to operate as two separate airlines with the partition in place with the FAA, even though we’re clearly one Company and one Family.'

Seperate in the eyes of the FAA.

One company in the eyes of the SEC.

And for the record, the Airtran side has really done well with all of the above numbers. Which is awesome. More profit sharing for all of us, which is a good thing.

If you came across me in public and told me how lucky I am, how I won the lottery, and get over any ill feelings, there's a good chance you'll see the toxicity. Funny thing is, I've only came across one of those so far and I'll bet that individual is not even on FI based on thier statements as they had absolutely no clue what was going on. As for the FI posters, I'd bet most, if not all, would not say anything toxic in person that they post on here.

Except that after cutting our 401 contributions, AirTran pilots are not eligible for profit sharing this year. One Luv bitches!

Wrong. These numbers are exactly what you will be paid out for this year. Your deposit will go in Sept 2013 for this earning/calendar year. Nice attempt at hijacking a thread with your anger.

So these numbers every quarter should matter.

Announced late last year...

Southwest Airlines Profitsharing Available to Airtran Employees in 2012

Fletch717 and BR715, redflyer65 is correct. Little surprised you guys didn't know that. Over time, it's a huge chunk of change.

Keep it in the back of your mind as every little bit helps.

It's great to see the good numbers. They could have been higher though. We are not even connecting bags or pax yet. Pitiful. It's great the GO knows how to throw a good deck party. Now how about putting that energy into completing the airline merger.

I think his point is that SW guys are getting a profit sharing check in 2012 based in part on what AirTran did in 2011 post DOCC. Some (most?) feel that the AirTran guys should have been made eligible as of DOCC in May 2011 for a pro-rated payout in Sept of this year.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I seem to remember that new SWA employees weren't eligible for profit sharing until their first anniversary. So every SWA employee worked for the company for a year without profit sharing contributions.
