DALLAS, May 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Beginning today, Southwest Airlines will add a new beer offering onboard. Nothing says summer like a cold Corona Extra with a lime! Corona Extra is the #1 selling imported beer in the U.S. Corona's smooth taste offers the perfect balance between heavier European imports and lighter domestic beer. The additional beverage option is another way Southwest is improving the Customer experience onboard.
Corona Extra will be the same price as Southwest's current beer offerings at $5 per can or one Southwest drink coupon. Corona joins the airline's other onboard beer offerings of Bud Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, and Heineken.
Southwest will be testing Corona Extra onboard through September and at that time, based on Customer demand, the airline will determine whether to keep the offering onboard

That's pretty hip and all, but some Summer Shandy or Landshark Lager are the best summer beers going. After Coors Light, of course.

Good grief, Coors Light is piss water and Corona is recycled piss water. Something thick that you can't see through, that's the way to go. Blue Moon, huh, ya'll hiring at JB?

I thought Corona was recycled Mexican bath water?

Landshark is pretty decent beer, (as if Jimmy Buffett didn't make enough money off his other ventures!)

There are much better beers than Corona. The only thing Corona has had going for it is good marketing.

There are some good quality domestic beers and microbrews that could be served in place of Mexican piss water

I hear ya... the only thing that makes Corona drinkable is a lime, and I don't see Southwest stocking fresh fruit in their galley. They had Bud Select for a while, and that was actually pretty decent as your megabrews go.

We stock limes on every flight. Always have.

Ya'll don't do a very good job of reading through the lines. Corona? Mexico? Mexican service coming this summer!

Gup
